Synopsis

A female puppet appears locked in a room, prostrate on the floor and immobile. After several experiences, ropes are attached to her body and her movements begin to be more and more fluid. Each of the strings is associated with a scene related to an aspect of women's social problems, such as the body

Director's BIO

Screenwriter, animator, director and producer

Sonia Estévez is a stop motion director and animator and currently lives in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
Sonia is a founding partner and administrator of Tik Tak Film Studio, a cooperative social initiative production company specialized in stop motion animation.
She has trained in stop motion animation in Barcelona, at the 9zeros Animation School and at the Cifo de Hospitalet. She took courses on Digital Art and Audio-visual Projects at the Vitoria-Gasteiz School of Arts and Crafts. He has completed executive production training at Media Training Consulting and Stop Motion I and II courses at the Aardman Academy (2021-2022).
She studied Forestry and Environmental Chemistry, so she fuses audio-visual production and sustainability. She uses stop motion animation as a means of making social issues visible.
She has directed three short films and several commercials in this animation technique.
She teaches various animation workshops for all ages.
